Frameline

Founded in 1977, FRAMELINE (originally The San Francisco International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival), is the longest-running, largest, and most widely recognized LGBTQ+ film exhibition event in the world. As a community event with an annual attendance of 60,000+, the Festival is the most prominent and well-attended LGBTQ+ arts program in the Bay Area.

The Castro neighborhood, as well as the film community in the Bay Area and beyond, have been eagerly waiting for FRAMELINE’s return since 2023, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them back!
